>>> "Sorry about leaving so abruptly." Aaron amended, realizing how distant he'd been earlier.
He grabbed Ava's hand and steered her away from the diner, like he was trying to put as much distance between the two very-closely-located places.

"Oh--uh--it's okay," she stuttered nervously, "I was done anyway," Ava shrugged nonchalantly.
She followed him obediently, happy to be holding his hand.

>>> "Mm-hmm." He replied, once again a little detached, although this time was for a different reason.
He lifted her hand [or rather, their hands, as they were tightly entwined together] and kissed her fingers.

OOC: YES!
BIC: Ava blushed, looking up to meet his blue eyes.
He was truly an amazing person.... You just had to look deeper.
Slowly, Ava drew them closer together, and she tilted her head up slightly.

Hope you don't mind the height part I added x)
>>> He had to bend down slightly; he was quite a bit taller than she was.
Finally, his lips met his. Aaron pressed a hand on the small of Ava's back to gently push her closer.
For a moment, he forgot completely about Jasper, Des, and even Bella's blood.

It was bliss.
Aaron! Aaron was kissing her!
She wasn't sure how long the kiss was, but when they finally pulled apart, Ava did not want to let go. She held on, her arms wrapped around his chest.
---
"What the hell is he doing?" Des muttered under her breath, glaring.
She had left Tyler behind at the diner, dumping him cruelly before their meals had even arrived. Who cared? He was just another flavor.
The way he looked at her... The way she looked at him... Des could nearly say they were already in love!
Des scoffed. Sure. Yeah. Aaron the heartless fell in love!

>>> "...love you..." He murmured, so softly that the "I" part of the L-phrase had been chopped off.
Nearly the second after Aaron murmured those magic words, he wished he could snatch them back and shove them back into his mouth.
Pardon my language...BUT WHAT THE F*** AM I DOING!? I just saidthatword, to a girl who is practically my enemy!
It was sort of like Romeo and Juliet. Fine, it was totally like the gruesome Shakesphere play. Seriously, Shakesphere shouldn't be remembered for being a romantic playwriter! He's a friggin' asshole who wrote plays where the main character/s died! Seriously, who does that?!

Ava's heart quite nearly stopped.
Did he really just say the l-word? Really? To Ava?
Has the world ended? No. Is she dead? No.
This was really happening! This was happening! Aaron said he loved her!
"I," she breathed, "Love you, too,"
---
Des desperately wished she knew what they were saying.
Stupid! Witch ears weren't that powerful!
I wanna be a vampire! she whined.

>>> There was a little smile that was forming on his lips.
He could hear her heart beating like crazy, in weird spastic irregular thumps.
Aaron's eyes flashed upwards, as the wind blew by, he caught a whiff of something...well, something that just wasn't supposed to be there.
Des. Damn damn damn damn!

Ava's eyebrows condensed, confused at the look on his face.
Was she not supposed to say "I love you" back? Was it something she did? Did her breath smell?
"Something wrong?" she asked.

>>> "No, nothing's wrong." His voice was soft again. Des couldn't hear them, right? No, no, she wouldn't be able to...she was no vampire...but still...
"Let's go." He took her hand and led her in the opposite direction, away from where Des was watching.

Something was definitely wrong, and he wasn't telling her.
Okay, one more time of a stunt like that, then I'll ask him what the hell is going on, she promised herself as she followed him dutifully.
But she couldn't help herself when she added, "You sure?"
---
Des growled under her breath.
Aaron thought he could run away from her! A trained spy and hunter! She'd been doing this stuff her entire life, and he thought he could just walk away to escape from her?! Hell. No.
Still muttering obscenities under her breath, she followed them through the night.

>>> Aaron first felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. A second later a very loud ringtone started playing. It was the unnamed baseball anthem song; yeah, the really annoying loud one that pisses football-fans off. Aaron really had no idea who set that ring tone.
Dammit. That means they pickpocketed my phone again...
He fumbled around, muttering a quick apology to Ava, and answered the untimely call. He turned away from Ava, listening to some idiot hunter blab away.

Ava tilted her head to the side curiously. She wondered did Aaron had a job or if it was a friend from school.
Does he even have any friends from school? she wondered as she waited patiently, eyes wandering around only to meet back around at Aaron. --- Good. So Aaron's phone was on.
Des dialled Aaron's number, her manicured nails pressing angrily into the buttons. She held the cell to her ear, glaring at him impatiently as she interrupted the other hunter's call.

>>> Aaron was murmuring low, irritated words to the hunter. He could almost imagine the human hunter sweating, and stuttering apologies for interupting Aaron's very important 'meeting'.
Another call came through. Aaron hung up on the hunter, knowing it was Des on the phone. "What is it?"
